Each week we scan thousands of advertised Amazon “deals” and publish the share that aren’t genuinely below their usual price — from real 12-month price history. It’s free to cite and embed.

Weekly reports

Every week has its own permanent, dated report with the sample size, category breakdown, named examples (each linking to its price-history receipt), and a CSV of the underlying data. Browse them all at worthitforyou.com/fake-busted.

Methodology (short version)

• Sample: thousands of advertised Amazon deals each week, stratified across product categories.
• “Busted” = today’s price sits within 0.88–1.12× the item’s usual (90-day) price — not meaningfully below it.
• Source: real Keepa price history; the figure can’t be bought. Full detail on the methodology page.
